 How do I donate a dress?

Due to limited storage and overwhelming generosity from dress donors this year, we've reached our limit for dress donations under size 14. If you are interested in donating size 14+ prom dresses, we'd love to hear from you! Simply email us at donatelapc@gmail.com. 

Donations FAQ's

 Can I have my house be a drop off location for friends and you can pick everything up there?

Absolutely!  We encourage volunteers to use their residence as a drop off location for friends so we can reach out to more people.  Someone from the LA’s Prom Closet team will then contact you and set a time to pick everything up.
 

 I have shoes and jewelry that I was hoping to also give away.  Do you take them?

We only take shoes and jewelry on a case-by-case basis.  They must be in excellent condition and be able to be reused by the teen girls.

 
 Is it tax deductible if I donate my dress or any other monetary item?

Yes, we are a 501c3 non-profit organization so we have tax deductable forms available.
